Budweiser celebrated International Rock Day telling the story of its real creator: Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the Mother of Rock

Sister Rosetta Tharpe was a black woman that in the 40's believed in her music and created fast guitar riffs that inspired names as Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, and Elvis Presley. Budweiser as a bold brand embraced her story and told everyone who the real creator of rock was. After more than 60 years, Sister Rosetta Tharpe played again in radio stations, had her story recognised in the media and amazed the public. By the way, the brand perception with the campaign was so high that Budweiser's e-commerce had a historic sales day.
